Can you believe that these types of living fossils existed billions of years before dinosaurs were a thing? Still blows my mind! A
An absolute Bucket list stop when you’re travelling the WA coastline.
Save this for your next road trip and while you’re there be sure to go searching for the Jyttes Hytte Giant.

Swimming with sea turtles in Sri Lanka was a trip highlight. We were fortunate enough to do it twice, both times completely naturally. But please do it responsibly. Please don’t feed them and definitely don’t be touching them or picking them up!

Yes, Sydney is great, BUT Australia is so much more than its ‘big’ cities.
I feel I could do a 36 part series just sharing all our favourite places!
I’d love to hear your favourite place. Not the cult favs like Ningaloo but the lesser known, off the beaten track ones.
If you’re travelling Australia, are planning to, or looking for family travel inspo, be sure to give @thefamilyfind a follow!

Straight into Cool Runnings quotes! You can’t quite see it in the video but the boys had ‘steam’ coming out as they were breathing and they were so stoked about it!

This hidden waterfall is not far off the beaten track so perfect for families.

While NSW is hibernating this winter we have been loving getting out and exploring some epic national parks and having them to ourselves!
This epic waterfall is only an hour from Sydney and can be found in the Royal National Park.
The track is no longer maintained so info is hard to come by. Comment ‘epic’ and I’ll send over everything you need to know to get there!

We were complete novices when we started our lap of Aus and we had so much to learn! We met and talked to so many people and I think these are the top 5 things people starting out should be across!
Let me know if you think I missed something? What did you learn on the road?

Before we get into it; remember to follow @thefamilyfind for family-friendly walks, hidden gems and outdoor adventures around NSW.
This 3.5km return walk winds through beautiful bushland to a series of lookouts with sweeping valley views and a front-row seat to one of NSW’s most spectacular waterfalls.
The car park often looks busy, but don’t let that put you off. Most visitors only walk the 200m path to the first lookout before turning around, leaving the rest of the trail feeling surprisingly quiet.
Best visited after rain when the falls are at their most impressive, making it a great winter adventure, but the scenery here is spectacular year-round.
A few things to know:
• 3.5km return walk
• Multiple lookouts along the trail so no time to get bored
• Some stairs along the way so not suitable for prams
• Can get a little muddy in places
• Pack a drink bottle and some snacks
• Toilets picnic facilities and even a cafe at the carpark
One of the best waterfall walks in the Southern Highlands.

A real-life goblin forest.
Towering trees, moss-covered paths, endless greenery and waterfalls around every corner. This fun 4km loop takes around 90 minutes and starts from the Dawson Falls Visitor Centre.
It feels like stepping into a magical storybook and is one of New Zealand’s most underrated family adventures.
